In this pre-Halloween mystery, we meet Jan, a young wife recovering from a nervous disorder.  She and her husband rent a remote cabin from an odd farmer who delights in telling gruesome ghost stories. Then the husband's strange sister arrives, and all manner of frightening events occur.  What happens to fragile Jan as bodies appear and disappear give this classic thriller its tremendously frightening impact.

This performance includes strong language and the on-stage use of a firearm.

I'll Be Back Before Midnight is presented as part of Artober.

CAT’s 2017 entry into the Acts of Faith Festival is this contemporary comedy about mother-daughter revelations during one stormy weekend in North Carolina that puts the “fun” into “dysfunctional.” These off-beat characters tell a story with snappy one-liners that is engaging, even surprising, and leads to an ending that is as touching as it is humorous.
1920s high-society London is once again thrown into chaos by hapless playboy Bertie Wooster, this time in cahoots with his old school chum Eustace Bassington-Bassington. The two hatch a brilliant plan to dupe their meddling relatives in order to save Bertie from an undesired marriage and Eustace from an unwanted job in India. But will the ever-faithful manservant Jeeves be able to rescue these bumbling fools from themselves? A delightful romp full of deception and disguise. This faithful reproduction of the original P.G. Wodehouse stories about Bertie Wooster and his manservant, Jeeves, will appeal both to lovers of the original stories and to newer devotees of “Downton Abbey.”
When a family gathers at the command of its matriarch, no one is happy. Grandmother holds the purse strings to the clan’s inheritance and makes ludicrous and unreasonable demands on her family. Their responses – sometimes silly, other times horrible – are often the reaction many can relate to (but wouldn’t dream of fulfilling). This world premiere, black comedy will conclude CAT’s 2016-2017 season.
